Details of the hand rejuvenation treatment
The problem
With each passing year, the skin of the hands that is particularly exposed (to solar radiation, environmental agents such as cold and wind, cleaning products, etc.) becomes blemished, the epidermis thins and deep wrinkles appear.
Treatment
Comprehensive treatment of the hands that combats the different signs of aging (thin hands showing the outlines of the bones, weathered, with signs of dehydration and/or spots). The treatment combines three different techniques. Following a correct diagnosis a peel is performed, followed by 2 sessions of mesotherapy separated by an interval of 15 days. The treatment is finished with the reticulated hyaluronic acid filler.
Techniques
Peel
A peel is carried out (mesopeel melanostop) based on azelaic acid, resorcinol and phytic acid, substances with depigmenting effects that promote cellular renewal, resulting in an even skin tone.
Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a medical treatment that involves the intradermal administration of active ingredients by multiple microinjections to correct aesthetic alterations (skin aging, wrinkles, stretch marks, cellulitis and alopecia, among others),
It is a minimally invasive technique, that requires no preparation time and allows the patient to immediately resume their daily activities.
Mesotherapy has a triple effect on the treated area:
- physical stimulation produced by the effect of the needle (mechanical stimulation)
- pharmacological action of the solution or specific cocktail of active ingredients administered
- activation of a greater number of skin receptors thanks to the micro dosing of the applied solution
In this particular case two sessions of intradermal injections will be performed, based on hyaluronic acid and polynucleotides (mesohyal X-DNA) and a mixture of vitamins, minerals and coenzymes (mesohyal NCTC 109). Hyaluronic acid is a molecule found naturally in the skin, which attracts water, providing moisture and firmness to the tissue. Polynucleotides are molecules that promote the protein synthesis of the skin’s internal layers (collagen, elastin and fibronectin) that improve the skin. The vitamin cocktail stimulates the skin’s antioxidant and repair processes.
Filler
Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in numerous tissues and organs of our body such as the skin, cartilage and the bone marrow. The hyaluronic acid present in the skin binds to the water, providing the tissue with hydration and turgor. Reticulated hyaluronic acid as a treatment acts by restoring the volume lost by the passage of time, attracting water molecules to hydrate the tissue and stimulating collagen synthesis to improve the quality of the skin.
