Professional treatment programme specific for the eye contour
Eye contour is a particularly sensitive area that has differentiated anatomical characteristics, which explains why the treatment must be specific.
The problem
Characteristics of eye contour
The delicate anatomical features of the periocular area, together with internal and external factors, such as fluid retention, genetics, continuous gesticulation and skin flaccidity, make that the eye contour is an area that shows multiple imperfections.
Global eyecon is a treatment with a global action, that combines multiple therapeutics categories and corrects wrinkles and expression lines, under-eye bags and circles and drooping upper eyelid.
Global eyecon protocol
It is a convenient, effective programme combining the peel with the transepidermal solution -both exclusive for the periocular area- achieving visible, cumulative results after the first session.
A solution created with products specifically developed for this area, with excellent skin and eye tolerance to achieve the maximum therapeutic efficacy.
The programme comprises 6 sessions, alternating 3 periocular peel sessions with 3 transepidermal sessions.
Peel sessions
Application protocol
- Preparation of the skin
oil removing solution allows to remove the hydrolipidic film to enhance active ingredient penetration, maximising treatment efficacy. Apply using a gauze over the previously clean, dry skin.
mesoestetic® recommends: Protect the corners of the eye with mesolips before application of global eyecon periocular peeling. For greater convenience in application, first apply to half the face and repeat the process.
- Application of the peel and removal
Using a cotton bud, spread evenly global eyecon periocular peeling according to the following order of application:
1. external periocular área.
2. lower eyelid.
3. upper eyelid.
Apply 3 layers of product, one over the other, in ‘multi-layer’ application. The product exposure time is 3 minutes before removing it.
- Neutralisation of the peel
Post-peel neutralizing spray is a solution formulated at pH 7.5 - 8.8 to neutralise effectively global eyecon periocular peeling.
Spray thoroughly on a cotton pad and slide over the area treated. Leave on for a few minutes and remove the residue with water.
It is usual to feel itching or stinging. These symptoms will disappear after a few seconds.
Transepidermal sessions
Application protocol
- Preparation of the skin.
Apply the oil removing solution using a gauze over the previously clean, dry skin. It allows to remove the hydrolipidic film to enhance active ingredient penetration, maximising treatment efficacy.
- Extraction and application.
The vial-syringe adapter and the sterile syringe are tools to facilitate extraction of the solution and its application.
Remove the vial cap and place the adapter on the neck exerting a slight downward pressure. Position the syringe in the adapter adjusting it with a turn of the screw.
Place the bottle upside down and pull the plunger backwards to empty the syringe content.
- Application and vehiculation.
Apply one vial per session and patient. Release small amounts of solution (2 ml per side) over the areas to be treated and vehicle by microneedling.
mesoestetic® recommends: Deliver the solution by microneedling using m.pen [pro] at 0.25 mm in depth. Do not use in the part of the mobile eyelid of the eye.
- Application of the mask.
Apply and adapt the mask so that it is in full contact with the area treated. Leave on for 10-15 minutes on the skin.
